ICE detained two SUNY Upstate Medical University employees in Syracuse on October 29. Their unions, United University Professions (UUP) and the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) have publicly denounced the detentions. The president of the SUNY University Faculty Senate (UFS) issued a statement in support of the two workers.
