NYS Conference Leadership

According to the NYSC AAUP Constitution (Revised April 27, 2024):

ARTICLE III.1: The Administrative Committee (AC) consists of the offices of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, all of which are elected positions.

ARTICLE III.2: The Executive Council (EC) consists of the officers of the Conference (AC), four (elected) At-Large members, the national Council members elected from the district that includes New York State, the (elected) At-Large Council members who are members of the NYS Conference, and the elected National AAUP Officers who are members of the NYS Conference.

ARTICLE III.2: EC members who are not elected per Article IV: Election of Officers and At-Large Executive Council Members will serve in a non-voting capacity.

ARTICLE III.3: The Steering Committee (SC) consists of the EC and the chairs of standing NYS Conference committees and councils.

ARTICLE IV.1.d:  Officers and At-large members of the Executive Council shall take office on June 1 following the notice of their election by the NYS Conference.
